Senior Electrical Engineering Designer - Logistics
About the Role
As an Electrical Engineering Designer III, you will lead the electrical design on your own set of projects from the first site walk through the last field question. This includes building power system models, running studies, writing specifications, and taking the design through code and agency review. You will also review the work of outside consultants, other in-house disciplines, and junior designers you mentor.
This role involves setting the scope, writing work plans, leading project meetings, and making technical decisions with minimal supervision across multiple projects. Successful performance in this role can lead to advancement toward Senior Electrical Engineer or discipline lead positions.

- Own the power system analysis behind your designs, including load flow, harmonic, and protective device coordination studies. Build power system models from field investigation and site data.
- Write the work plan and schedule for each project, accounting for permitting and agency review timeframes, and deliver on client milestones.
- Take medium-to-high complexity systems through code and agency review, leading compliance reviews against NEC, IEC, and local amendments.
- Coordinate projects across in-house disciplines and outside consultants, organizing and leading project team meetings and verifying consultant work.
- Run construction administration with minimal supervision, answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, issuing clarifications, and conducting field visits.
