Senior Electrical Engineer (Test)

Job Summary: The Senior Electrical Engineer (Test) provides hands-on design in developing test equipment for all phases of electrical and electromechanical projects. This individual has a significant impact on product innovation, cost, schedule, and feature set. This individual will retain technical ownership of test equipkment throughout the design, development, production, and support phases. Duties and Responsibilities: Work as part of project development teams to understand the products to be testedArchitect, design, prototype, verify and document complex test equipment for development, qualification, and production testing of RAVE productsSelect suppliers for COTS itemsDesign printed circuit boards such as development breakout boards and custom test equipment interfacesDesign cabling for connection to units under test and internal to equipmentIntegrate test equipment with Manufacturing SoftwareWork with the team on project schedules to ensure test equipment is available on timeInterface with regulatory testing agencies to secure approvals such as FCC and CEProvide support to factory in resolving production test issuesPerform other job-related duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field6+ years of experience working in similar roleWell versed in electromagnetic compatibility regulatory requirements and mitigation of problems found during testingProven track record in meeting project goals and objectivesExperience in the In-Flight Entertainment (IFE, IFEC) industry, avionics industry Benefits The starting pay range for this position is $112,500 to $127,000 per year however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
