We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Use your vast experience in the industry and apply it to solving today’s challenges.
- Work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges locally and worldwide by providing a range of skills as part of an integrated building services design.
- Deliver multiple projects simultaneously across a wide range of electrical engineering capabilities, including power system planning, power distribution, lighting design, vertical transportation, and construction coordination.
- Lead design and perform calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.
- Prepare load analysis for different stages of design.
- Oversee the preparation of drawings detailing system design.
- Prepare basis of design reports.
- Prepare and document energy compliance calculations and forms.
- Design grounding and lightning protection.
- Design redundant electrical systems.
- Mitigate hazardous area concerns.
- Select equipment and fixtures for use in the building.
- Cook up design with engineers and architects of other disciplines.
- Facilitate construction administration.
- Limited travel commitments in support of project designs to visit with clients and develop an understanding of their needs as part of a broader design team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- United States Citizenship
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working in a corporate or consulting environment in an electrical engineering capacity
- Familiarity with ICC & NEC Building Codes
- Experience working on industrial buildings, power, UPS systems, and generator systems
- Exposure to low and medium voltage system design
- Basic Skills in Revit and 3D CAD
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop future engineers
- Strong technical focus in industrial engineering applications
- Willingness to take independent initiative, demonstrate creative problem-solving, eagerness to learn, and dedication to teamwork
Qualifications
- Experience supporting sales pursuits and early phase concept development
- Exposure to mission critical concepts for healthcare, datacenters, industrial and/or transportation
- Past performance in quality control review roles
- An appreciation for travel in support of projects and sales pursuits (scalable to your life)

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
