Senior Electrical Engineer-Battery Energy Storage Systems
for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We must only include sections when posting has real specific content. We need to preserve all substantive info, not invent or summarize away detail. Remove boilerplate etc.
We need to decide which sections to include.
Content:
- Intro about HDR, mission, etc. Could be "About the role" or maybe "About HDR". The instruction: use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can have "About the role" heading and then paragraphs describing the role and mission.
- Responsibilities: list of duties under "Primary Responsibilities". Those are many bullet-like sentences. We need to put them in - . Each bullet is a sentence.
- Requirements: maybe "Required Qualifications" section. That includes Bachelor's degree, 10 years experience, PE license, etc. Also "Preferred Qualifications". Could combine into Requirements? The instruction says we can have Requirements and Qualifications sections. We need to decide. Probably "Requirements" for required qualifications, and "Qualifications" for preferred qualifications? Or "Skills" for skills. Let's map:
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis; minimum 10 years experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems); requires professional engineering license; extensive knowledge of building electrical power, lighting and signal design, including life safety systems and building management systems; strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, and electrical design software; attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
- Preferred Qualifications: design experience adhering to NEC, NESC, IEEE codes, etc.; technical writing experience; minimum 10 years of experience in design of BESS, power generation, renewables, electrical distribution, or power system controls; understanding of BESS technologies and integration; understanding of typical communication network topology, fire alarm systems, and relay coordination; technical knowledge to analyze and interpret technical data and documents related to BESS; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to support multiple complex and time-sensitive projects; ability to multi-task; identify and resolve issues; ability to interact with clients and design/construction teams; ability to adapt to change; ability to interface with diverse personalities; self-motivated and team player; demonstrable technical writing/editing ability, commitment to quality; ability to travel up to 10% domestic and international; strong interpersonal skills; preference given to candidates local to New England area.
- Skills: maybe we can extract skills like technical writing, communication, etc. But we already have many in preferred qualifications. Could create a Skills section summarizing those? However instruction: prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. We could combine Preferred Qualifications and Skills into one "Qualifications" section, and Required Qualifications into "Requirements". Or we could have Requirements (required) and Qualifications (preferred + skills). Let's do that.
- Benefits: The posting includes "We provide a comprehensive benefits package that promotes employee ownership, employee health, performance, and success, which includes medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life insurance, an employee assistance program, paid time away, parental leave, paid holidays, a retirement savings plan with employer match, employee referral bonus and tuition reimbursement." Also note about temporary/part-time limited benefits. That's substantive. So we can have Benefits section.
- Pay: The posting includes expected compensation range depending on skills, experience, education and geographical location, with specific ranges for locations: Boston, MA: $145,908 - $208,440; Bedford, NH: $127,670 - $182,385; Portland, ME: $115,511- $165,015; Providence, RI: $127,670 - $182,385; Rocky Hill, CT: $133,749 - $191,070. So we have Pay info. Must include Pay section.
- Schedule: The posting includes "Schedule:Full-time". Also "Employee Status:Regular". So we have schedule info: Full-time. So we can include Schedule section.
- Also there is "Industry:Power", "BusinessClass:Power Generation", "Job Posting:Sep 17, 2026". Those are metadata; we can fold into a short paragraph or drop. The instruction: do NOT put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. So we can include a short paragraph with location, industry, posting date maybe.
- Also there is a line: "Primary Location:United States-New Hampshire-Bedford Other Locations:United States-Massachusetts-Boston, United States-Maine-Portland, United States-Connecticut-Rocky Hill, United States-Rhode Island-Providence". Could be included in About the role or a short paragraph.
- Also there is a line: "At HDR, we are committed to the principles of employment equity...". That's EEO boilerplate; we should remove.
- Also there is a line: "Watch Our Story:' https://www.hdrinc.com/our-story'" maybe we can keep as part of About the role? It's a link; but we should not invent. Could keep as part of About the role paragraph.
We need to output only HTML fragment, no markdown fences.
Let's structure:
