Responsibilities
- Interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating large engineering assignments.
- Ensuring budget adherence, schedule adherence, quality control, and inter-discipline coordination.
- Planning and developing engineering projects with unique or controversial problems.
- Maintaining liaison with individuals within and outside the firm on technical matters.
- Supervising and reviewing the work of a team of engineers and designers.
- Participating in client contact and business development activities.
- Preparing or supervising preparation of contract proposals and participating in presentations.
- Maintaining regular meetings with clients to define project scope, present progress, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Accepting or rejecting major items involving materials, equipment, manufacturer's quality, and field construction.
- Maintaining continuing professional education as required by registered states.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and full professional registration required.
- At least ten years of related practical experience, with industrial manufacturing facilities design experience required.
- Experience in lieu of professional license may be approved in select disciplines at the sole discretion of SSOE.
- Valid driver's license required, may be waived for international assignments.
