Responsibilities
- Interprets, organizes, executes, and coordinates large engineering assignments.
- Ensures budget adherence, schedule adherence, quality control, and inter-discipline coordination.
- Plans and develops engineering projects with unique or controversial problems.
- Maintains liaison with individuals within and outside the firm on technical matters.
- Serves as a team leader, supervising and reviewing the work of a team of engineers and designers.
- Participates in client contact and business development activities.
- Prepares or supervises preparation of contract proposals and participates in presentations.
- Maintains regular meetings with clients to define project scope, present progress, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Accepts or rejects major items involving materials, equipment, manufacturer's quality, and field construction.
- Maintains continuing professional education as required by registered states.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and full professional registration required.
- Ten or more years of related practical experience, including industrial manufacturing facilities design.
- Experience in lieu of professional license may be approved in select disciplines at the sole discretion of SSOE.
- Valid driver's license required, may be waived for international assignments.
