Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Interprets, organizes, executes, and coordinates large engineering assignments.
• Ensures budget adherence, schedule adherence, quality control, and inter-discipline coordination.
• Plans and develops engineering projects with unique or controversial problems.
• Maintains liaison with individuals within and outside the firm on technical matters.
• Supervises and reviews the work of a team of engineers and designers.
• Takes a very active part in client contact and business development activities.
• Prepares or supervises preparation of contract proposals and participates in presentations.
• Maintains regular meetings with clients to define project scope, present progress, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Accepts or rejects major items involving materials, equipment, manufacturer's quality, and field construction.
• Maintains continuing professional education as detailed in registered states' voluntary or mandatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering and full professional registration is required.
• At least ten or more years of related practical experience.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing facilities design is required.
• Experience in lieu of professional license may be approved in select disciplines at the sole discretion of SSOE.
• Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments.
