About the role
The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead and manage complex building projects, providing technical oversight and mentoring to junior staff. They will also serve as an Engineer of Record (EOR) and foster strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Project team leadership and management
- Completion of projects on time and within budget
- Preparation of deliverable documents including narratives, calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Attendance at client meetings and coordination with internal and external project teams
- Evaluation and application of engineering judgment, techniques, and procedures
- Electrical system distribution, lighting, and power system design
- Interdisciplinary coordination and advanced understanding of building codes and industry standards
- Engineering calculations, equipment selection, site visits, and issue reporting
- Training, guidance, and mentorship for staff
- Updates to master specifications and standards, and process improvement
- Application of load flow, short circuit, and arc flash energy analysis using Easy Power
- Client relationship management
- Overseeing the application of the project quality management plan (QMP)
- May act as a Project Manager or EOR with approval
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline
- Relevant Professional Credential (PE)
- Minimum 1-3 years of Electrical E-4 or 6-10 years’ related work experience
- Technical skills in electrical system distribution, lighting, and power system design
- Advanced understanding of electrical engineering concepts and ability to communicate design options
- Strong delegation and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Revit/AutoCAD, and Easy Power

- Hiring Base Salary Range: $113,600 - $142,000 annually
- Time and a half overtime pay
