About the role
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services Group. This role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Cook up the work of Electrical Engineers with the balance of a multidiscipline team throughout the entire project's development
- Build strong client relationships and participate in marketing, design, and production meetings regarding electrical systems
- Take the lead on many projects and conduct schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions at the project site
- Review projects with various governing agencies for code compliance
- Keep track of the financial aspects of projects and coordinate and adjust the work effort with the team to ensure completion within the agreed-upon schedule
- Lead the activities of other electrical engineering professionals and act as a mentor to other staff members
- Handle other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
- 10+ years of experience in electrical design, particularly in water and wastewater projects
- Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
- A minimum of 10 years experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems)
- A professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered

Pay and Schedule
The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location. For example, in Ohio, the range is $111,650 - $159,500. The schedule is Full-time.
