The Role
Lead in the field of electrical engineering, prepare plans, specifications, calculations, and reports, and interface with clients and team members.
The Responsibilities
- Lead a team in designing power distribution, lighting, and grounding systems for industrial, manufacturing, or chemical process facilities.
- Conduct power system studies and analyses, such as short circuit, load flow, protective relay coordination, and arc flash analysis.
- Communicate with clients and project staff in meetings.
- Organize workload and meet deadlines.
- Participate in field investigations and provide support during project phases.
The Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in consulting engineering.
- Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, or chemical process facilities.
- Washington State Professional Engineer (PE) license with the ability to obtain licenses in other states.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical discipline and relevant codes and standards.
- Proficiency in software like Easy Power, SKM, AGi32, and Visual Lighting Software.
- Skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and ability to pass client badging and screening processes.
