Senior Electrical Engineer

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and analysis of electrical building systems from concept through construction.
  • Prepare calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documents in accordance with applicable codes and industry standards.
  • Perform site assessments, field investigations, and technical evaluations.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to understand project goals and deliver practical engineering solutions.
  • Review designs, calculations, specifications, and project documentation to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across project teams.
  • Assist in resolving construction-phase and field-related engineering challenges.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and engineering best practices.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and business development efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required. 10-12+ years preferred.
  • Strong understanding of power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm, and building electrical systems.
  • Experience with electrical analysis, code compliance, and quality control.
  • Proficiency with specification development, Bluebeam or Adobe, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to mentor technical staff and collaborate across disciplines.
  • Ability to travel occasionally as project needs require.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to project requirements.
