Senior Electrical Engineer
About the role
Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 10-15 years of diverse consulting engineering experience. The position is open in Pittsburgh, PA; Camp Hill, PA; Baltimore, MD; and Annapolis, MD, with additional openings at the firm's other locations in New York.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level engineering services for a broad range of clientele, including municipal, commercial, private, and industrial facilities projects.
- Design and manage small to large projects, focusing on electrical service entrances, medium voltage power equipment, power distribution, electrical studies, emergency power, lighting design, alarm systems, telecommunications, and industrial process-related electrical systems.
- Collaborate with architects, structural, mechanical, and civil engineers to ensure effective, integrated, and well-coordinated project design solutions.
- Develop and manage dynamic, challenging projects that incorporate innovative and unique goals and objectives.
- Interface with internal and external clients, mentor younger staff, and assist with proposal development.
Requirements
- A B.S. in Electrical Engineering with at least 10-15 years of diverse consulting engineering experience.
- Acute analytical skills and a comprehensive technical background across all facets of electrical engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of industry standards like IEEE and NFPA, as well as State building codes.
- Excellent communication and writing skills to interact effectively with both technical clients and co-workers/staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office platform, AutoCAD, or Revit.
- Desired soft skills include interfacing with clients, mentoring younger staff, and assisting with proposal development.
- Desirable industry certifications, such as Certified Energy Manager or LEED AP.
- Desired registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in NY, PA, or MD (or eligibility to obtain).
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a broad familiarity with the work of other project team members, including architects and structural, mechanical, and civil engineers, to facilitate effective, integrated, and well-coordinated project design solutions.

Pay
The estimated pay range for this position is $115,000 - $145,000/year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location, market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
