Senior Electrical Engineer
About the role
Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 10-15+ years of diverse consulting engineering experience on municipal, commercial, private, and/or industrial facilities projects. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and possess acute analytical skills, the capability to design and manage small to large projects, and a comprehensive technical background across all facets of electrical engineering related to building and power distribution systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage small to large projects
- Provide high-level engineering services for a broad range of clientele
- Develop and manage dynamic, challenging projects that incorporate innovative and unique goals and objectives
- Interface with internal and external clients
- Mentor younger staff
- Assist with proposal development
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 10-15+ years of diverse consulting engineering experience
- Acute analytical skills
- Capability to design and manage projects
- Comprehensive technical background across all facets of electrical engineering
- Specific areas of expertise could include electrical service entrances, medium voltage power equipment, power distribution, electrical studies, emergency power, lighting design, alarm systems, telecommunications, and industrial process related electrical
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Software capabilities must include Microsoft Office platform, AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Strong working knowledge in industry standards such as IEEE and NFPA as well as State building codes
- Broad familiarity with the work of other project team members, including architects and structural, mechanical and civil engineers
- Desired industry certifications, including Certified Energy Manager or LEED AP
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in NY, PA or MD (or eligibility to obtain)
Qualifications
- Desired soft skills include interfacing with internal and external clients, mentoring younger staff, and assistance with proposal development

Pay
Estimated Pay Range: $115,000 - $145,000/year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
