Responsibilities
- Perform complete construction documents to include drawings, power system studies and specification documentation.
- Perform and oversee execution of designs including medium and low voltage AC, DC, single line diagrams, electrical plans and equipment layout.
- Perform and oversee execution of lighting design both interior and exterior, calculate foot-candle to ensure lighting design meets IESNA requirements.
- Participate in meetings with internal and external customers and provide engineering support through design and construction phases including but not limited to reviewing/approving shop drawings submittals, responding to RFI’s, and addressing AHJ comments.
- Review deliverables and follow QA/QC process through design and construction phases.
- Attend site visits as necessary.
- Serve as a technical resource to internal staff.
- Multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Power engineering or related field
- PE license in Electrical Engineering (licensed for at least 3 years)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical design
- 7 years of AEC consulting electrical engineering experience (preferred)
- Project Management experience
- Experience with AutoCAD/REVIT
- Knowledge of Title-24 Part 6 California Energy Conservation Code
Qualifications
- Experience with REVIT
- Experience with multi-family, commercial, and institutional projects
- Experience with Battery Energy Storage System
- Experience with SKM and/or ETAP programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe/Bluebeam software
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management, supervisory, and people skills
Pay and Benefits
Approximate Base Salary – $115,000 – $140,000, depending on experience.
Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
Competitive end-of-year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance.
Hybrid Work Schedule - Monday - Wednesday onsite, Thursday and Fridays are optional work-from-home. (Subject to change)
