Responsibilities
- Create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D modeling, and electronic document files for electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to design complex packages in coordination with engineers and design leads.
- Form the core of the electrical delivery team by delivering complex packages in coordination with engineers and design leads.
- Develop staffing plans based on deliverables to be produced and the project schedule.
- Gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule for assigned tasks.
- Mentor subordinates and provide guidance to less experienced designer/drafters.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in Electrical design utilizing 3-D modeling / drafting.
- At least 5 years of design experience with Revit.
- At least 5 years of experience as a BIM lead.
- Knowledge of NEC and electrical design requirements.
- Experience with semiconductor, or mission critical design.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $80,600.00 to $148,610.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked.
Schedule
Employees have access to a hybrid working policy, allowing them to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations enabling them to deliver their best work.
