Senior Electrical Designer

Responsibilities
- Support the planning, development, and delivery of EEA's Graduate Training Program (Bootcamp) for entry-level engineers
- Provide classroom-style instruction and hands-on training related to electrical systems, design fundamentals, drafting standards, and industry best practices
- Review design work completed by entry-level engineers and provide timely coaching and constructive feedback
- Monitor participant progress and identify opportunities for additional development and support
- Promote a collaborative learning environment that encourages professional growth, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and project managers to support integrated design solutions and successful project delivery
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience designing low-voltage systems in the MEP consulting field, preferably on light commercial or retail projects
- Demonstrated expertise in utilizing AutoCAD and Revit with a track record of producing high-quality electrical drawings and models
- Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor, and develop early-career engineers and designers
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, practices, and standards, including but not limited to NEC, NFPA, IESNA, IECC, and IEEE regulations
- Adept at working effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced consulting environment, balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and responsibilities
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and other regulatory authorities to achieve project objectives and deliver successful outcomes
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in drafting, with the ability to produce precise drawings that adhere to project requirements, standards, and specifications
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM coordination, including experience managing linked models, resolving clashes, and supporting interdisciplinary project collaboration

Annual profit-sharing bonus, contingent on company performance
