Senior Electrical Design Engineer (MEP)
Job Details
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with strong MEP experience to lead electrical system design efforts and mentor junior team members. This individual will play a key role in delivering high-quality construction documents and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design for commercial, multifamily, healthcare, municipal, and specialty projects
- Develop power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage system designs
- Prepare and review construction drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Cook up with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams
- Support construction administration activities, including site visits and responding to RFIs
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and industry standards
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in MEP electrical design
- Strong background in commercial and multifamily projects
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software
- Solid understanding of NEC and applicable building codes
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but NOT required

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year
Onsite only at the Orlando office (remote work is not available for this role)
