P2S is a provider of professional engineering services to various sectors including healthcare, ports/harbors, industrial, entertainment, commercial, laboratories, municipal, and federal. Specialties include electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and technology integration. We offer services from engineering and commissioning to construction management.
Responsibilities
- Support both pre-design and design phases on small to medium-sized projects, including healthcare facilities.
- Apply advanced design principles, perform complex calculations and modeling, and prepare construction estimates and specifications.
- Manage project budgets, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to business development efforts.
- Conduct feasibility studies, prepare schematic designs, develop single-line diagrams and load schedules, engineer lighting systems and controls, and design power systems.
- Conduct Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies.
- Experience with low voltage building systems (Fire Alarm, Security, Voice/Data, Nurse Call) is a plus.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification preferred.
- LEED Accreditation is a plus.
- PE License is a plus.
- Experience with AutoCAD required.
- Revit experience preferred.
- Experience with California Building Code or Washington Building Code.
- Experience with National Electrical Code.
- Experience with HCAI/OSHPD (a plus).
- Experience with Net Zero Energy/Carbon design (a plus).
Qualifications
- 10+ years of electrical design experience in healthcare or commercial buildings.
- Strong understanding of healthcare codes and standards.

Pay
$150,000 – $190,000, based on experience. This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus.
Schedule
Hybrid — 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
