About the role

The Senior Editor, People Managing People is responsible for overseeing the editorial team in the Media - Audience department. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of audience engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the editorial team to ensure high-quality content is produced on time and meets audience expectations.
  • Develop and implement audience engagement strategies that enhance brand loyalty and drive traffic to the media platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align editorial goals with broader business objectives.
  • Lead regular meetings with the editorial team to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to editors to support professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in editorial management or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing a team.
  • Strong understanding of digital media trends and audience behavior.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing a remote team.
  • Knowledge of SEO and content marketing best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
