Senior Economic Development Specialist

About the role

This is a non-represented position (no union affiliation) within the Maintenance & Operations department. Hours of work are either Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. or Tuesday - Friday; 6:00 a.m - 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer a multi-project capital improvement program.
  • Activities to include project need assessment, concept development, design, bidding, and construction.
  • Design and construction work almost entirely done through contracts.
  • Must have thorough understanding of project design and construction process, competitive RFP and bid process, and project administration practices.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent and six years of progressively responsible administration of design and construction contracts work experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Skills

• Ability to operate vehicles, calculator, personal computer, and MS Office programs.
