About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep understanding of eCommerce and data analysis to identify high-potential brand partners and drive successful partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Acquire new brand partners by identifying high-potential accounts and conducting thorough market research.
- Build data-driven business cases to engage and set realistic expectations for potential partners.
- Collaborate with global sales, marketing, and finance teams to develop and implement strategies that attract and retain partners.
- Support the transition from sales to brand management by providing expert guidance on Amazon and Pattern capabilities.
- Proactively coordinate with various stakeholders to prioritize and drive innovative projects.
- Present business cases to potential accounts and assist in closing deals.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, preferably in brand management roles at marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, etc.
- Strong understanding of 1P strengths and weaknesses, and the economics of eCommerce.
- Experience translating data into actionable insights and communicating these insights to senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and the ability to build compelling presentations for executive-level audiences.
- The ability to communicate clearly and adapt messaging to different levels of management.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and prepare materials for high-priority accounts.
- The ability to understand and address the needs of various accounts to tailor communications and proposals.
- Experience working cross-functionally and building relationships with various departments to enhance business cases and reinforce Pattern's capabilities.
- A solid grasp of industry statistics and Pattern's proof points, along with the ability to track and analyze data to create value for potential partners.
