About The Role
Verndale is seeking an experienced Product Manager to work embedded with a client's e-commerce team to enhance the shopping flow. You should have a passion for creating outstanding customer experiences through innovative solutions. You will partner on driving a large initiative already in progress, helping to influence design solutions, define requirements, oversee development progress, and establish a robust go-live strategy.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a Product Manager peer to ensure success of the project.
- Facilitate regular meetings with partner teams to quickly problem-solve.
- Achieve all project milestones in a timely manner as established by the project timeline.
- Prioritize team activities and drive resolution of issues across all areas of the project.
- Communicate project status to various partners, up to senior leadership.
- Advise and carry-out risk assessment and mitigation plan as needed.
- Prioritize issues and tasks accounting for multiple tracks of intersecting work.
- Maintain a keen eye for the details while ensuring the overall progress of the project.
Qualifications
- Account for multiple business stakeholders across variety of teams and technical systems, and synthesize features and capabilities.
- Experience organizing and planning large cross-functional projects.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and take initiative.
- Experience developing innovative front-end customer experiences.
- Clear and thorough documentation of project details and operational plans.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both at the project level and to senior leadership, in a variety of forums.
- Ability to learn technical (product) concepts quickly.
- Ability to engage operational teams to plan for launch and provide a detailed strategy for ongoing management of the final product.
- Excellent analytical reasoning and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working in a constantly evolving environment where ambiguity and short turnaround schedules are the norm.
- Successfully deliver the full scope of the project.
- Minimum 5 years product management experience, with expertise in leading purchase flow enhancements preferred.
