About the Opportunity:The SENIOR E-COMMERCE ENGINEER will lead the development and maintenance of the customer-facing e-commerce platform where products are discovered and purchased. This role is key in ensuring high performance, reliability, and user experience across both client and server aspects of the application. The position contributes by delivering scalable, maintainable features that support business growth and customer engagement. Responsibilities:Develop and deploy new features using TypeScript and a Hydrogen-based React frameworkManage server-rendered pages including routing, data loading, and user interactionsIntegrate and troubleshoot commerce, content, and analytics APIsEnhance site speed and stability to optimize customer experienceEvaluate and implement architectural improvements as neededCollaborate with cross-functional teams on launches and experimentsProduce high-quality, test-covered codeMentor engineers through reviews and design discussions Requirements:Extensive experience with production React and TypeScript applications with server-side renderingProficiency with React Router v7 including routes, loaders, and actionsFull-stack development skills across browser and server environmentsProven track record of improving site performance and reliabilityStrong judgment regarding architectural decisionsEffective communication and teamwork skills Pay Range and Compensation Package:The anticipated base salary range is $160,000 to $200,000 per yearCompetitive salary and equity package401(k) matchingWellness, learning, and home-office budgetsHealth, dental, and vision insurance plansUnlimited paid time offCompany holidays on the first Friday of each month except November, December, and January Benefits & Perks:Medical insuranceDental insuranceVision insurance401(k) plan matching Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
