Senior Engineer, eCommerce
Location: Remote (SF/NY/DC)
About the role
Develop and design Java microservices and Frontend applications for high availability eCommerce platform components using Object-Oriented design principles, data structures, algorithms, DBMS/SQL, and Software Engineering practices. Collaborate with engineers and leads from cross-functional teams to drive key design decisions and ensure the development of application components for enterprise projects. Understand the latest industry trends and evaluate new technologies for appropriateness of applications.
Ensure platform components have a clear separation of concerns and are designed for reliability or easy scaling. Participate and provide feedback for load and performance testing. Define and implement logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks for critical metrics at various levels. Provide guidance and mentoring to engineers in following best practices in microservices implementation and assist in troubleshooting issues across the eCommerce application stack to support operational and system production issues impacting business.
Influence decisions, provide input, build consensus, and resolve conflicts constructively and proactively. Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $161,640.00 - $169,995.00. The actual base salary offered depends on factors such as qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location. Individuals may also be eligible for bonuses.
