Responsibilities
- Closing Pipeline. Manage own closing pipeline that rolls up to Commercial Bank Closing Pipeline. Loan types may include Commercial Lines of Credit, Commercial Mortgages, Construction Loans, Equipment Loans, Term Loans and Business Banking Loans. Keep pipeline updated on closing status for executive management. Requests to include New Originations, Renewals, Extensions, and/or Modifications.
- Document Management. Create and maintain a closing folder for each loan that is assigned. Maintain accurate records or closed loans and update loan system. Ensure Vikar record is complete to Board Loan.
- Due Diligence. Perform due diligence review, such as reviewing credit approval packages, collateral verification, Insurance Accords, Beneficial Ownership, Secretary of State and KYC.
- Document Preparation. Utilize Laser Pro and MSWord to prepare and complete loan documentation necessary for type of loan. This may include Promissory Note, Business Loan Agreement, Commercial Pledge, Security Agreement, UCC Filings and Loan Disbursement. Prepare and review any ancillary documents required, including, Flood Checklist, Closing Checklist, Escrow Statement, W9, Corelogic Tax Form, etc. Ensure accuracy prior to delivery to customer for execution.
- Closing Coordination. Work with internal and external parties to coordinate and facilitate closings. Utilize DocuSign and ensure proper validation.
- Compliance. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies and procedures.
- Loan Funding. Prepare loan funding/loan settlement. Prior to funding, verify Collateral Holds; Escrow Holdback Deposits, 3rd Party Expenses, Commitment Fees, and Tax Escrow all have been accounted for. Ensure all require approvals and conditions have been met and documents have been reviewed for completeness.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience with Loan Documentation.
- Laser Pro or equivalent experience required.
- Advanced, multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- User working knowledge of Fiserv ‘Premier’ system or equivalent, a plus.
- User working knowledge of Sageworks or equivalent, a plus.
- Commercial regulatory compliance knowledge, a plus.
