Senior DL Compiler Engineer -CUDA Tile

About the role

NVIDIA is seeking software engineers for the CUDA Tile team. The CUDA Tile team is part of the broader effort to advance deep learning and accelerate computing with NVIDIA GPUs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement compiler transformations for CUDA Tile
• Develop MLIR-based dialects and lowering passes for CUDA Tile
• Optimize tile-based kernels for efficient execution across multiple GPU architectures
• Define public APIs for CUDA Tile
• Lead the development of compiler and optimization techniques
• Perform performance optimization and other software engineering tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of relevant work or research experience in compiler optimization, performance analysis, and IR design
• Ability to work independently, define project goals, and lead development efforts
• Excellent C/C++ programming and software design skills, including debugging, performance analysis, and test design
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a dynamic product-oriented team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CPU and/or GPU architecture
• CUDA or OpenCL programming experience
• Experience with MLIR, LLVM, XLA, TVM, and deep learning models and algorithms

Pay

Base salary range: $152,000 - $241,500
