About the role
In the role of Senior Distribution Project Engineer, we'll count on you to:
- Cook up the work of design engineers with the balance of a multidiscipline team throughout the entire project's development
- Build client relationships and participate in marketing, design, and production meetings
- Step up as the technical lead within a project execution team
- Take charge of reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
- Do schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions at the project site in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplines
- Manage the workload throughout the project to ensure project deliverables are completed on schedule
- Work with the Project Manager and Project Controller on project reviews with management as needed
- Lead the activities of other engineering professionals and be a mentor to other staff members as needed
- Do other duties as needed
Responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 10+ years of distribution design experience.
- Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm desired.
- Experience with industry software including: CYMCAP, ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, Polywater Pull Planner, PLS-CADD, Spida Calc, Pole Foreman, etc.
- Experience performing structural analysis, plan and profile preparation, line optimization, preparing specifications and drawings, and other engineering documents.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- A minimum of 10 years of experience
- Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
- Extensive experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office as well as standard Power Market Sector design software (examples include PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, and Revit)

Pay
The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
- {Spokane, WA}: $108,661 - $155,230
- {Olympia, WA}: $114,380 - $163,400
- {Gig Harbor, WA}: $125,818 - $179,740
- {Bellevue/Seattle/Everett, WA.}: $137,256 - $198,080
