Senior Director, US Medical Affairs Strategy Lead, Gastrointestinal, Oncology and Emerging Indications

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the US Medical Affairs strategy and objectives related to scientific engagement and communication
  • Create a Health Care Professional engagement strategy for insights to inform medical strategy
  • Act as the US medical representative on cross-functional teams
  • Serve as a therapeutic area content expert, especially in GI indications
  • Lead scientific engagement activities with key external stakeholders, including advisory boards and congress activities
  • Support gap assessments to refine publication and evidence generation strategies as part of the US Medical Affairs plan
  • Facilitate collaboration with Clinical and US MSL teams to ensure clinical trials meet timelines

Qualifications

  • Advanced doctorate degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, DO, or equivalent) in a medical/scientific area required
  • 15+ years of experience in biotech/pharmaceutical settings focused on Medical Affairs, including cross-functional headquarters and field-based roles
  • Strong scientific background in GI cancer and ability to analyze and communicate complex data effectively
  • Direct, hands-on experience in Medical Affairs activities such as publications and evidence generation
  • Prominent track record in clinical trial support and data analysis results
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and presentation skills
