Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy of net patient service revenue and third-party settlement estimates in line with GAAP
- Lead development of advanced analytics and tools to gain insights on reimbursement trends and denial drivers
- Monitor and interpret evolving reimbursement regulations, translating them into actionable compliance strategies
- Synthesize complex regulatory changes into clear insights for senior leadership
- Oversee submission of all third-party cost reports and reimbursement correspondence
- Manage interactions with Medicare Administrative Contractors and handle audit and appeal strategies
- Guide graduate medical education reimbursement strategies and compliance with CMS regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field required, Master's preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in healthcare industry regulations and reimbursement methodologies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
