Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy of net patient service revenue and third-party settlement estimates in line with GAAP
  • Lead development of advanced analytics and tools to gain insights on reimbursement trends and denial drivers
  • Monitor and interpret evolving reimbursement regulations, translating them into actionable compliance strategies
  • Synthesize complex regulatory changes into clear insights for senior leadership
  • Oversee submission of all third-party cost reports and reimbursement correspondence
  • Manage interactions with Medicare Administrative Contractors and handle audit and appeal strategies
  • Guide graduate medical education reimbursement strategies and compliance with CMS regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field required, Master's preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in healthcare industry regulations and reimbursement methodologies
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
