Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership Development
- Identify, prioritize, and pursue strategic partnerships capable of generating significant patient referral volume.
- Develop relationships with executive leaders across healthcare systems, hospitals, emergency departments, behavioral health organizations, FQHCs, correctional systems, government agencies, and managed care organizations.
- Negotiate partnership agreements, referral arrangements, and collaborative growth initiatives.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities across BHG markets.
- Support strategic partnership opportunities that involve government procurement, contracting, and competitive bid processes.
Health System & Provider Relations
- Establish referral relationships with health systems, hospitals, emergency departments, primary care organizations, behavioral health providers, and specialty care providers.
- Develop market-specific strategies to increase awareness of BHG’s services and improve referral flow.
- Partner with clinical and operational leaders to ensure successful implementation of referral relationships.
Criminal Justice & Government Partnerships
- Develop strategic relationships with drug courts, probation and parole departments, correctional facilities, state agencies, county governments, and other public-sector organizations.
- Identify opportunities to expand patient access through government and criminal justice partnerships.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and resource to community stakeholders.
Market Development
- Assess market opportunities and identify new referral channels.
- Partner with Marketing and Operations to develop market-entry and growth strategies.
- Help identify underserved patient populations and opportunities to expand access to care.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with Regional Operations, Clinical Leadership, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Executive Leadership to align partnership efforts with enterprise growth objectives.
- Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Support the development of scalable partnership models and best practices.
Success Metrics

Requirements
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare business development, strategic partnerships, provider relations, market development, sales, or growth leadership.
- Demonstrated success building executive-level relationships and generating measurable business growth.
- Experience negotiating and managing complex partnership relationships.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to operate independently in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
Preferred
- Experience navigating government procurement processes, public-sector contracting, and RFP/RFQ opportunities.
- Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, mental health, healthcare services, or other multi-site healthcare organizations.
- Experience working with health systems, managed care organizations, government agencies, or criminal justice organizations.
- Familiarity with value-based care, behavioral health ecosystems, and referral network development.

Pay
Salary range approximately $160,000 - 220,000/annually, depending on experience.
Schedule
This role requires significant travel (50–75%) across BHG markets and partnership locations.
