About the role

Cardlytics is the industry-leading purchase intelligence and incentives platform. Founded in 2008, it helps businesses attract, understand, and incentivize consumers through digital reward programs. This role serves as a strategic finance partner to leadership and shapes the company’s financial direction.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO, CFO, and executive leadership to provide financial insights that inform strategic decision-making
  • Lead the ongoing build-out and refinement of the corporate financial model to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
  • Prepare materials and support quarterly and ad hoc reporting for executive leadership, the Audit Committee, and the Cardlytics Board
  • Partner with Accounting, Investor Relations, and business leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting and support external communications
  • Mentor members of the Strategic Finance team while fostering strong financial rigor and business partnership
  • Build financial models and business cases to evaluate strategic initiatives, investments, and growth opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial planning processes, reporting, and decision-support capabilities through automation and best practices
  • Support a strong control environment by partnering with Accounting to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information
  • Develop and own financial models, valuation analyses, and business cases to support investment decisions and strategic transactions
  • Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry opportunities to inform long-term growth strategy
  • Develop business cases and financial analyses to support capital allocation and long-term strategic decision-making

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
  • 8-12+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles and a background in investment banking
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to build and maintain complex spreadsheets and financial models
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
  • Experience presenting to C-level executives, board members, and external stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Experience in a public company environment and familiarity with SEC reporting requirements
  • Knowledgeable of the broader software and technology landscapes
  • Experience with International finance, particularly in working with global teams and cross-border financial operations (a plus)

Skills

  • Technical proficiency in macOS and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Familiarity with or willingness to work within these environments
