Job Summary
We’re hiring a Senior Director of Strategic Finance to drive growth and strategic decision-making across Fullscript. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Finance and partnering with the GM of our core supplements business, this role is central to an operating model where Strategic Finance functions as true business partners with business leaders to drive forecasting, prioritization, and rapid execution to deliver meaningful impact in a fast-growing health tech in the wellness space.
What You'll Do
- GM and cross-functional strategic partnership
- Partner closely with the GM and leaders across Product, Operations, Supply Chain to assign metrics to track performance and growth initiatives.
- Drive results. Collaborate with the GM to drive accountability and results across teams.
- Shape resource allocation. Provide financial insight to guide tradeoffs across initiatives, investments, and operational decisions.
- Define KPIs and drive growth
- Define the scorecard and diagnostics. Define and measure key business performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities to improve financial and operational outcomes.
- Lead driver-based deep dives. Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover drivers of performance and areas for value creation.
- Evaluate growth opportunities, stress-test assumptions, quantify payback and risk, and develop business cases to inform strategic investment decisions.
- Deliver executive-ready insights. Produce briefings that include performance narrative, quantified options, recommended actions, assigned owners and success metrics.
- Business performance and narrative
- Develop a deep understanding of the business’s economic drivers and how they impact growth and profitability.
- Own the P&L narrative. Maintain an up-to-date, dynamic economic model; produce the monthly performance narrative highlighting risks, opportunities and plans.
- Operationalize insights. Convert analysis into dashboards, templates and self-service assets to enable cross-functional partners.
What You Bring To The Table
- 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, FP&A or corporate strategy with demonstrable impact as a business partner to a GM or BU.
- Structured problem solver who enjoys tackling ambiguous business challenges and turning analyses and growth initiatives into clear plans and actionable recommendations.
- Strong hands-on modeling: driver-based forecasts, scenario analysis, unit economics and business cases.
- Proven ability to move cross-functional teams to action without direct authority; excellent influencing skills with senior leaders.
- Bias for impact and speed; thrives on ambiguity and converts it into measurable plans.
- Accountability orientation: sets clear targets and expects follow-through.
Nice to Have
- Experience embedding with Product/Commercial teams, or in high-growth, product-led or e-commerce environments.
- Technical fluency with SQL/BigQuery, Looker/Sigma or similar; experience operationalizing analytics.
