About the Role

As the senior-most Product Marketer in the Marketing organization, you will own the narrative around Alight’s product offerings, crafting and sharing our solutions story in the most engaging and persuasive way. You will collaborate across Sales, Growth Marketing, and Product Management teams to drive an integrated go-to-market (GTM) strategy and differentiated narrative for buyers and influencers. As the subject matter expert (SME) on audience challenges, value drivers, and buying journeys, you will:

  • Develop high-impact messaging, positioning, and content
  • Identify priority use cases where Alight has a right to win
  • Define cross-functional GTM sales plays
  • Enable field teams with vital content and tools
  • Build customer-facing assets that contribute to a strong pipeline

This role serves as a trusted advisor to field teams, providing insights and resources to close deals and expand within existing accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute product launches and consult on campaigns to drive awareness, adoption, and retention
  • Support sales enablement and customer success by providing tools, materials, and training, including:
    • Creating and updating sales collateral (pitch decks, case studies, testimonials, demos)
    • Conducting product training sessions, webinars, and workshops for sales and customer success teams
  • Study and share customer insights, feedback, and testimonials (from NPS, CSAT, and other research) with product and marketing teams to inform development and improvement
  • Develop and implement GTM strategies, including launch plans, and coordinate with other marketing teams to amplify product messaging
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness and ROI of product launches and campaigns, optimizing based on data and feedback
  • Lead the creation of differentiated positioning, messaging, and customer-facing content to establish Alight as the premier solution for HR outsourcing, benefits administration, health navigation, wellbeing, wealth administration, and leaves of absence across the agreement lifecycle
  • Partner with Sales Operations and Demand/Growth Marketing to design and execute GTM sales plays that build pipeline and accelerate customer acquisition and upsell opportunities
  • Lead and support Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) accountable for Health, Wealth, and Leaves solution marketing, including hiring, training, mentoring, and setting clear goals
  • Act as a strategic partner to Sales and Enablement by developing playbooks, training, and tools to help field teams navigate the HR buying journey and close deals faster
  • Serve as the primary SME on buyer personas, uncovering deep customer insights and market trends to optimize the sales cycle and identify high-priority use cases
  • Allocate resources, budgets, and timelines for product marketing projects
  • Monitor and evaluate the results and impact of product marketing activities
  • Curate and evolve buyer personas and journey maps to align with target audience behaviors, pain points, and preferences
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify industry trends, understand competitor positioning, and differentiate Alight’s solutions
  • Leverage customer feedback and reviews to assess satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and provide insights for product development
  • Craft compelling product messaging to communicate value and differentiation effectively
  • Measure and report on marketing performance to make data-driven decisions
  • Attend and speak at relevant events, conferences, and webinars; network with peers, influencers, and experts; and contribute to blogs, articles, and reports
  • Benchmark product performance and positioning against competitors and industry standards to identify opportunities and threats

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred
  • Experience in health technology, benefits administration, BPO, or professional services
  • 15+ years of progressive success in product/solution marketing, driving measurable business outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to own and drive enterprise-level product strategies tied directly to financial performance
  • Proven experience managing large-scale programs with accountability for ROI and business impact
  • Deep expertise in modern product marketing techniques, including digital twin, digital persona, and AI-supported product/solution marketing
  • Solid track record of building and scaling B2B and B2B2C product/solution marketing
  • Ability to operate with decision authority in complex, matrixed organizations, aligning multiple stakeholders to enterprise outcomes
  • Proven ability to partner across sales, product, finance, and technology functions to deliver integrated strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, drive transformation, and deliver results in complex environments
  • Exceptional leadership capability with experience building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams
  • Superior communication, executive presence, and influencing skills

Pay

Salary pay range: $175,000 – $190,000 USD. Bonus and/or incentive eligibility are determined by role and level.

Alight considers a variety of factors in determining compensation, including candidate experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography. Decisions are made on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis.
