Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional Project Teams developing novel therapeutics
- Guide Project Teams from pre-IND to Phase III for pivotal clinical trials
- Provide scientific oversight, budget management, and planning direction
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project vision and strategy
- Assess risks and develop management strategies for projects
- Leverage knowledge of disease biology to inform strategic decisions
- Report to the Portfolio Management and Operations function
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in life sciences or medicine (MD/PhD/MS) required
- 10+ years of industry experience in project or portfolio management roles
- Experience leading teams in a matrix environment
- Strong decision-making and analytical skills
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
- Outstanding communication and influencing skills, particularly with executive management

$247,000 – $458,800 annually
