About the role
The Senior Director, Project Management drives security and IT infrastructure projects from concept through implementation, owning outcomes, timelines, and executional success. Reporting to the Chief Security Officer, this hands-on role combines pragmatic problem-solving with executive relationships to remove roadblocks, manage complexity, and deliver business impact. The primary ownership will be executing Trimont’s Security Program initiatives and roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Acquire a comprehensive grasp of project parameters, including scope, necessary resources, stakeholder engagement, key milestones, and criteria for success.
- Implement rigorous and regular reporting mechanisms covering project progress, planning, potential risks, resource allocation, and accomplishments.
- Craft succinct and insightful reports tailored for executive leadership, providing clear visibility into project developments.
- Cultivate strong collaborative ties with all project stakeholders, ensuring seamless interaction and cooperation.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of project outputs and progress updates to guarantee precise and transparent communication of the project's current standing.
- Design and execute clearly defined communication strategies and reporting frameworks for the project, ensuring information is efficiently conveyed and recorded.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution or equivalent professional experience in business.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, as well as proven interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
- 10+ years of project management experience with a track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- A historical focus on building stakeholder relationships, balancing priorities, and managing roadblocks over traditional project task management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and adept in using Microsoft Project or similar project management software.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and adhering to deadlines.
- Resilient to disruptions in workflow while consistently meeting organizational deadlines.
- Skilled in prioritizing tasks, managing time effectively, and organizing work responsibilities efficiently.
- Adept at working with diverse teams and communicating effectively across all levels of the company's organizational structure.
