For our client, a leader in the Business Services space, we are seeking a Senior Director of Program Management Maturation & Delivery. This role will drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. You will work across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track. The position offers the opportunity to bring clarity to complex work and deliver outcomes that matter across the organization within a Business Services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior program management partner to Chief Innovation Office leaders, particularly in Oncology and Neurodegenerative Disease
  • Lead and develop the program management team, setting standards and prioritizing across the portfolio
  • Modernize the program management function using AI tools and automation to enhance delivery
  • Manage end-to-end delivery against strategic and financial targets, ensuring alignment and addressing risks
  • Implement and improve the operating model in collaboration with the company Business System and Operations Excellence partners
  • Translate scientific advances into business implications for senior stakeholders
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives while building alignment across operating companies and external partners

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) in life sciences, or a scientific bachelor's degree with relevant experience
  • 12+ years in program or portfolio management, operations, or delivery within diagnostics, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, managing program managers or similar roles
  • Experience implementing operating models and governance structures at scale
  • Proficiency in applying AI and automation tools within program management or operations
  • Ability to translate scientific concepts into business implications
  • Experience managing cross-functional programs in a matrixed organization

Pay

$240,000 – $275,000 annually
