About the Opportunity

The organization is a dynamic educator and student-focused company dedicated to tech-enabled learning solutions. Its goal is to ensure that all students have access to flexible learning environments and educators have the tools they need to support their students. The organization is on a mission to create innovative, proven learning technology, partnering with educators to ignite student potential. It is a Remote First organization with a strong commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

The organization is building its Professional Learning practice into a national function — and is looking for the leader to own it end to end. This is a builder's role. The individual will step into a growing team and a real foundation, and will decide what this function becomes: the strategy, the content, the delivery model, the measurement, and the commercial structure behind it. Professional Learning sits alongside Customer Success as a peer discipline on the Service team, which means the role will have both the mandate and the executive visibility to shape how educators across the country experience the organization's products. If you've spent your career building professional learning inside someone else's strategy, this is the role where you set it.

In this role, the individual will:

  • Own a multi-year roadmap for Professional Learning and build the systems, frameworks, and operating model that let it scale nationally.
  • Direct the design of professional learning content grounded in adult learning science and the real conditions educators work in — not the ones wished they worked in.
  • Build and lead a national team of Professional Learning Specialists and Managers, plus a certified trainer network, and hold quality consistent across every channel.
  • Define what impact means for this function. Partner with CS Operations to build the metrics and dashboards that prove it, and use what they tell you.
  • Shape the commercial model — pricing, packaging, and bundling — in partnership with Sales, with real influence over how professional learning is sold and valued.
  • Serve as the strategic voice of professional learning across Customer Success, Product, Research, Sales, and Enablement.
  • Bring executive audiences along through briefings and communications that make the case for this work in terms the business acts on.

Who You Are

  • Possess 10+ years building and leading professional learning or customer education programs in education, EdTech, or a related field, with 4+ years leading teams.
  • An expert in adult learning theory and instructional design, and know what separates professional learning educators value from professional learning they endure.
  • Have built or substantially scaled a function before — the operating model, the staffing plan, the quality bar — not just run one that already existed.
  • Fluent in data. Have defined success metrics, built the reporting behind them, and used the results to change what was being done.
  • Have shaped the commercial side of a services function, or are ready to — pricing, packaging, and the business case for what learning is worth.
  • A compelling communicator in front of executives and educators alike, and build alignment without relying on authority.
  • Know the K–12 or higher education landscape well enough to anticipate what districts need before they ask.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree in Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or a related field is preferred.

Pay

Pay range for this role: $160,000—$175,000 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill sets. All compensation decisions are individualized and based on the specific circumstances of each candidate.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance with various plan options
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching
  • Time away program, volunteer time away, and a winter office closure at the end of December
  • Resources provided to promote wellness, ensuring support is available both professionally and personally
