Senior Director, Product Management - Accounting
About the role
ServiceTitan is the leading software platform for the trades, providing cloud-based solutions for managing and growing home and commercial service businesses. We are passionate about bringing innovative and delightful solutions to traditional problems and workflows. We measure our success based on our customer’s success. We strive for real impact to improve the lives of our customers. ServiceTitan is seeking a Senior Director of Product Management to own our Accounting domain - one of the highest-stakes product areas in the company.
Responsibilities
Define and own the vision for ServiceTitan's accounting platform, building a cohesive, scalable product that works for contractors at every stage of financial maturity
Build AI-powered accounting features that create real value for the CFO organization — from helping a small operator get off spreadsheets and close their books for the first time, to giving a multi-entity CFO the financial visibility and controls they'd expect from enterprise-grade software
Provide thought leadership, strategic clarity, and crisp communication to your team and the broader organization on accounting product strategy and roadmap
Work across engineering, design, finance, and GTM to identify opportunities to simplify the product and deliver results — with a focus on end-to-end ownership, not just your team's surface
Partner directly with customers to validate direction, build trust, and translate real pain into product insights, strategy and value delivery
Lead, grow, and advocate for a team of product managers; set a high bar for rigor, customer empathy, and business impact
Define and obsess over key metrics: product quality, adoption, customer sentiment, and the business outcomes that accounting touches across the platform
Requirements
10+ years of product management experience, with leadership experience in b2b SaaS environments
Deep accounting domain expertise — you understand GL structures, AP/AR workflows, and how ERP systems (Spectrum, Sage, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) model accounting constructs; construction or field services accounting experience is a strong plus
Proven ability to own complex, cross-functional product areas where architectural decisions have upstream and downstream effects across multiple teams and integrations
Strong instinct for where AI genuinely improves accounting workflows and the product judgment to know where it doesn't
Track record of being an influential leader: able to advocate effectively for your team, bring stakeholders along, and build alignment
Excellent communication to both technical and non-technical audiences, with experience engaging customers constructively and earning their trust
A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; an MBA or graduate degree is a plus but not required.
