Senior Director, Product Development

For our client, a leader in the Telecommunications space, we are seeking a Senior Director of Product Development to lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. This role involves collaboration across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product delivery across Satellite and Streaming platforms as the single accountability point
• Serve as the escalation authority for product delivery, partnering with VP and AVP engineering leaders
• Lead a multi-Director organization managing vendors and product teams, with oversight on budget management
• Direct a high-volume product roadmap involving hundreds of epics and thousands of features each year
• Manage a multi-million-dollar engineering budget, with quarterly vendor budget reviews and KPI governance

Qualifications

• 15+ years in product development, with 4+ years in software engineering/development
• Proven track record in managing a multi-million-dollar engineering budget for product delivery
• Experience leading vendor-heavy teams, including vendor performance and budget oversight
• Demonstrated ability to act as an escalation authority in large organizations, negotiating with senior engineering leaders

Pay

$162,593 – $295,113 annually
