About the role
We're looking for a Senior Director of Product Development to lead Nodpod's entire product organization, from the first spark of an idea through manufacturing, launch, and ongoing production. Reporting directly to our CEO & Founder, you will: set the product strategy and roadmap; lead and grow the product development & production team; own the systems that get every product to market on time, on budget, and on brand. This is a senior leadership role, but it doesn't sit above the work. You'll be accountable for the first steps of the product lifecycle: which products we build and why, and how those products are sourced and made. Above all, this role needs an exceptional project manager. Nodpod runs several product launches, SKU updates, and production cycles at once, across overseas partners and internal teams. The right person brings proven experience building and running project plans, managing a portfolio of concurrent timelines, and keeping every stakeholder aligned from concept to shelf. While this role is fully remote, our team works together in real time from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pacific Time.
Responsibilities
- Define and own Nodpod's multi-year product strategy and annual product roadmap, in partnership with the CEO & Founder.
- Build and present the business case for new products and line extensions, including target cost, margin, pricing, and volume assumptions.
- Turn quarterly wellness trend and category scans into
