About the role
The Practice Area leader is responsible for driving the success of client projects and advancing Advito’s strategic objectives within his/her area of expertise. Multimodal Practice scope includes Air, Car, Rail client’s worldwide spend categories. This role allocates resources, leads client engagements, ensures high-quality project delivery, and identifies opportunities for growth. The leader hires, mentors and develops team members, fosters innovation in processes and products, and maintains strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and industry partners. The leader is a member of the Advito Leadership Team.
Responsibilities
- Manage a global and cross-functional multi-level team
- Lead client engagements managing project to timelines, client expectations and resource budgets
- Identify additional revenue opportunities in both current and future engagements
- Work with Sales and Marketing to position and differentiate Advito's products and services in the market
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technology product lines
- Identify competitive threats and emerging problems and offer swift solutions to preserve the integrity of relationships
- Maintain constructive relationships with account and travel managers and share trends/industry changes
- Work closely with BCD Travel account managers, sales managers and supplier relations staff to support client base
- Provide program and account management for clients and support sales efforts by pursuing cross-sell/upsell opportunities in an effort to expand business with current clients
- Act as a point of escalation for all customer concerns
- Drive improvements in tools and process initiatives
- Engage in knowledge sharing and best practice sharing
- Provide support for internal Advito projects
Requirements
- Extensive Travel Industry and consulting experience in mid to senior level management
- Outstanding project management skills
- In-depth experience with airline industry
- Demonstrated capability in overseeing numerous client relationships, adhering to deadlines, and delivering high-quality results
- Outstanding verbal, written and presentation communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work with diverse, cross-functional international teams
- Advanced analytical skills
- Highly developed problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word and data visualization software skills required. Experience with generative and agentic AI is a plus
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in travel industry consulting or similar field
- Proven track record of leading and developing teams
- Experience with airline industry and travel management systems
- Strong understanding of sustainability and corporate social responsibility

Pay
- Netherlands: 105,000- 110,000 EUR
- United States: 125,000 - 160,000 USD
