Senior Director, Performance Marketing

Responsibilities

  • Own performance marketing across North America, Europe, and APAC, setting budget allocation and pacing to hit both short term and long term growth, CAC and payback goals
  • Lead day to day media operations across core channels, ensuring campaigns are optimized, budgets are deployed efficiently and performance issues are caught and corrected quickly (within hours)
  • Partner closely with creative to ideate, develop, and iterate on ad creative, using performance data and staying close to social trends to inform what messaging, formats, and hooks will resonate with Lovevery’s audience
  • Build and maintain the analytics structure needed to track performance accurately - from campaign-level metrics to broader marketing mix and incrementality, from monthly metrics down to intra-day for quick troubleshooting
  • Set the testing roadmap for performance marketing, identifying tests that have the potential to meaningfully move the growth needle
  • Manage and develop a team of performance marketers, setting goals, providing coaching and feedback, and building a structure and process that supports the needs of the business
  • Serve as the internal expert on paid channel dynamics, platform changes and industry trends, translating what’s happening in the broader market to opportunities for Lovevery
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other marketing verticals (influencer, social, product marketing, lifecycle, etc) as needed to ensure brand consistency and create the best quality and most compelling ad content
  • Be willing to jump in, explore, test and measure any new paid advertising opportunities that look compelling for Lovevery. Be as comfortable leading and coaching as you are also getting hands-on in accounts as needed
  • Champion a deep understanding of the Lovevery customer within the team, ensuring targeting, messaging, and channel strategy stay grounded in what motivates parents to engage with the brand

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in performance marketing with a track record of managing significant paid media budgets (ideally $10M+ annually) across multiple channels
  • Experience leading performance marketing across international markets, with an understanding of how channel mix, platform dynamics, and customer behavior vary by region
  • Deep expertise across major paid acquisition channels (Meta, Google, Tiktok, and similar), including hands-on knowledge of platform optimizations, bidding strategies, and measurement
  • Strong analytical fluency - comfortable working with attribution models, marketing mix modeling, and incrementality testing, and able to translate complex data into clear recommendations for the business
  • Strong understanding of marketing technology capabilities, with the ability to troubleshoot and work with data and dev teams as needed. Comfortable seeking out and implementing opportunities to automate tasks using new tools (including AI as appropriate)
  • Proven people leadership experience, having developed and managed high-performing teams
  • Proven experience partnering effectively with creative, influencer, brand, product, and finance teams to align performance marketing strategy with broader company goals
  • Experience operating in a high-growth or DTC environment, with the judgement to balance short-term performance targets against long-term brand and business health
  • Innate curiosity for what drives true growth. Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting strategy and results to all levels across an organization
  • Impeccable attention to detail and an action-oriented mindset that’s comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Genuine enthusiasm for Lovevery’s mission and a strong intuition for what motivates parents of young children - blending rigorous data analysis with real customer empathy

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, Pardot, or HubSpot
  • Experience with attribution modeling and marketing mix modeling
  • Experience with A/B testing and multivariate testing
  • Experience with programmatic advertising and DSPs
  • Experience with social media advertising and platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok
  • Experience with SEO and SEM
  • Experience with email marketing and CRM systems

Salary Range:

Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $125,000 to $175,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
