Senior Director of Training and Learning Excellence (Commercial)

Responsibilities

  • Establish a leading training department aligned with organization-wide learning objectives
  • Conduct learning needs assessments with business owners to identify skill gaps
  • Define and implement effective learning mixes tailored to target audiences
  • Create standard Launch Excellence models for new product rollouts
  • Develop and facilitate engaging workshops on disease states and contextual selling skills
  • Oversee vendor identification, selection, and relationship management for training projects
  • Lead resource allocation and budgeting in the business planning process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years in commercial or medical roles in Biotech/Pharma, field sales experience a plus
  • 5+ years in training leadership, field team training preferred
  • Proven collaboration with leadership teams
  • Experience in aligning strategic needs with curriculum development
  • Exceptional clinical insight across various therapeutic areas
  • Strong vendor management and internal negotiation experience
