About the role
Mentor A Promise is seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Director of Governance & Board Affairs to lead governance administration, board affairs, governance compliance, and organizational accountability efforts across the organization.
The role is responsible for overseeing:
- Board governance
- Board committees
- Bylaws & corporate governance
- Organizational resolutions & corporate records
- Governance policies
- Conflict-of-interest administration
- Organizational transparency & accountability
- Leadership responsibilities including governance manager, board affairs manager, and governance analyst roles
Responsibilities
Lead and support governance practices involving:
- Board governance administration
- Board meeting coordination
- Board records management
- Board onboarding
- Board communications
- Bylaw administration
- Corporate governance best practices
- Organizational resolutions & corporate records
- Conflict-of-interest management
- Organizational transparency & accountability
- Policy development
