About the role

The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra seeks a dynamic individual to join our team. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct rehearsals and performances
  • Collaborate with musicians and staff to ensure high-quality productions
  • Manage logistics and schedules for performances
  • Develop and implement performance strategies
  • Engage with the community through outreach programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in music performance or conducting
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Qualifications

  • Advanced level of musicianship
  • Experience working with diverse musical styles and genres
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Knowledge of music theory and history

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience

Schedule

Full-time position, 40 hours per week, with occasional evening and weekend commitments.
