Senior Director National Accounts
Job Summary
The Senior Director of National Accounts at Neurotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc., will oversee payer access strategies and market access plans, leading a team to maximize patient access to the brand. This role requires a proven track record in market access, payer marketing, and a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape.
About the Role
As a key member of the Market Access team, you will work closely with the VP of Market Access to execute the brand strategy and planning for launch, focusing on payer environment and product access goals. You will also lead the Director of National Accounts team and evolve payer access strategies to maximize patient access.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Director of National Account team
- Develop strong value communication platform and messaging
- Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to profile the payer landscape
- Develop and gain access strategies across the US payment system
- Oversee both overarching and day-to-day management, contract execution, supported by business rules, KPIs, and success factors
- Ensure ongoing monitoring of distribution initiatives as relates to IDN, payer, and government accounts dispensing, SP network objectives, and reimbursement support strategies
- Support program designs in partnership with Legal and Compliance partners
- Manage multiple vendors, marketing partners, and agency partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in market access, payer marketing, or related roles within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful market access strategies
- Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, including payer dynamics, pricing and reimbursement, and health policy
- Demonstrated proactive, creative, and entrepreneurial approach
- Experience with rare indications and ophthalmology preferred
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results and adapt to evolving market dynamics
- Understanding of medical devices, surgical procedures, and clinical applications
- Highly curious and analytical mind, with strong ability to synthesize, glean insight, and propose direction from market and scientific data
- Proven ability to collaborate, lead, and manage cross-functionally to drive business results in a heavily matrixed, fast-paced environment
- Outstanding project and budget management skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in market access, payer marketing, or related roles within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
Preferred Qualifications
- Launch experience for rare indications and ophthalmology experience preferred
