Senior Director, Marketing Insights and Planning

About the role

This leader will own the marketing insights function, turning customer, competitive, and market data into clear strategic direction. The role will guide segmentation and planning across growth and retention initiatives, helping the organization make sharper decisions about where to invest and how to respond to market opportunities. This position will partner closely with analytics teams and senior business leaders to shape long-range planning and strengthen executive-level decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Own the insights engine for marketing, synthesizing data into a cohesive narrative
• Build and lead a high-performing Marketing Insights team
• Elevate data-driven segmentation across customer and market opportunities
• Conduct regular strategic reviews with analytics partners
• Develop high-level business cases for growth and retention opportunities
• Present insights and recommendations to senior leaders
• Manage the execution of long-range and annual marketing plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent experience
• 15+ years of experience in marketing insights, analytics, or strategy, including 7+ years in leadership roles
• Proven track record in building consumer, competitive, and market insights capabilities
• Experience partnering with analytics teams on platform requirements such as CDP or CRM
• Demonstrated success presenting to and influencing C-suite executives

Pay

$265,500 – $309,750 annually
