About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director, Infrastructure Services to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This senior leader will shape and execute the infrastructure strategy that supports a complex scientific environment and its long-range operational priorities. The role will drive governance, accountability, and performance standards across critical facilities and service functions. The position will also partner closely with mission and program leadership to ensure infrastructure investments are aligned with evolving organizational needs and regulatory expectations.
Location: Lemont, IL. US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure lifecycle planning and execution aligned with laboratory science strategy
- Establish governance and accountability for operational performance and decision-making
- Oversee budgets supporting strategic project investments and maintain measurable performance standards
- Manage waste operations in compliance with regulatory requirements and proactive performance monitoring
- Collaborate with mission leadership to align infrastructure with program needs and goals
Qualifications
- 15+ years of leadership experience in infrastructure or operations management
- Demonstrated executive leadership in a large, complex, and regulated organization
- Experience managing significant budgets and long-range planning for infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of DOE and federal/state regulations regarding laboratory operations
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field; master's preferred

Pay
$282,818 – $441,196 annually
