Senior Director - Health & Benefits Consulting
About the role
The Senior Director - Health and Benefits Consulting leads client engagements involving the design and management of the full array of health and benefits programs. They drive the strategy and grow relationships with current clients by leveraging their expertise alongside WTW’s array of solutions and capabilities and participate in prospecting activities to generate new business.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the strategic partner and trusted advisor to clients in the design and management of their health and benefits programs.
- Lead the client service team in the design and delivery of project plans; ensure progress against established objectives, budgets, timelines, deliverables and quality standards.
- Proactively advise clients and ensure the delivery of superior client service.
- Lead vendor procurement strategy, negotiation, implementation, and optimization activities.
- Engage specialist resources and subject matter experts to solve for client needs and generate new business.
- Materially grow Health and Benefits revenue through:
- Anticipating client needs and cross-selling new solutions to current clients
- Serving as the Health and Benefits expert in new client pursuits by crafting solutions to meet prospect needs
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience and demonstrated success in the design/management of complex health and welfare plans gained in a consulting or brokerage environment.
- Proven ability to generate revenue.
- Track record of success in managing and growing client relationships.
- An executive presence with polished and well-developed written and oral communication skills.
- Superior ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and work across all levels of an organization.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
- State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining.
- CEBS designation, or health and welfare actuarial or underwriting training desired.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma required.
Qualifications
- Extensive leadership ability by directly managing and/or mentoring other colleagues.
- Conduct final review deliverables to ensure alignment to client objectives, leverage of optimal WTW recommendations, services and solutions, and adherence to WTW professional excellence standards.

Pay and Benefits
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $125,000.00 - $200,000.00 USD annually. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
