Senior Director, Head of Infrastructure & Technology Services

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director, Head of Infrastructure & Technology Services to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This leader will shape the infrastructure strategy that supports a modern, resilient, and secure technology environment across the organization. The role will oversee cloud, network, data center, end-user computing, and service management functions while partnering closely with senior business and technology stakeholders. This is a highly visible leadership position with responsibility for improving reliability, scalability, and operational effectiveness.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and architecture for cloud and network infrastructure
• Lead cloud operations and data center management teams to support high availability
• Build and evolve AI-ready infrastructure and scalable platforms
• Oversee end-user computing lifecycle and hardware across all locations
• Manage service desk operations and drive a service culture focused on continuous improvement
• Ensure infrastructure meets standards for uptime, disaster recovery, and security
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders regarding performance and investment needs
• Develop and lead a high-performing infrastructure and service management team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure and technology operations leadership
• Demonstrated ownership of enterprise cloud, network, data center, and end-user computing environments; Azure preferred
• Proven experience in IT service management aligned with ITIL practices
• Experience managing infrastructure budgets and vendor relationships

Pay

$160,000 – $190,000 annually
